Qualabi Privacy Policy

Qualabi ("we", "us", or "our") builds software that helps teams capture, summarize, and distribute meeting insights. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect personal information when you use the Qualabi web app, the Qualabi mobile apps, or any related services (collectively, the "Services").

Information We Collect

• Account information: name, email address, company affiliation, role, authentication data, and user-generated preferences.
• Meeting content: audio recordings, transcripts, summaries, audience selections, meeting titles, and business context provided by you or your organization.
• Usage information: device identifiers, log data, diagnostic events, support conversations, and aggregated analytics about how you interact with the Services.

How We Use Information

• Deliver and improve meeting capture, transcription, and summarization features.
• Provide customer support, security monitoring, troubleshooting, and product research.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements with you or your organization.

When We Share Information

We do not sell personal data. We may share information with trusted processors that help us operate the Services (cloud hosting, speech-to-text providers, analytics, support tooling) under strict confidentiality agreements. We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our legal rights, or in connection with a corporate transaction.

Data Retention & Security

Recordings, transcripts, and derived summaries are retained according to your organization's settings or as long as needed to deliver the Services. We employ administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect data; however, no system is perfectly secure, and we encourage you to use unique passwords and enable multi-factor authentication where available.

Your Choices

You can access, update, or delete certain profile information from within the product. You can delete your profile from within the application by clicking on the avatar menu, then selecting "Delete my profile". After confirmation, your profile will be deleted. To request deletion of recordings or other data, please contact your organization's admins or reach out to us directly. If we rely on consent (for example, to capture audio) you may withdraw consent at any time by disabling recording features or submitting a request.

International Data Transfers

Qualabi may process information in the United States and other countries where our infrastructure or service providers are located. When we transfer personal information across borders, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as contractual clauses or other lawful transfer mechanisms.

Children

Our Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will revise the "Effective date" above and, when appropriate, provide additional notice (for example, via in-product messaging). Your continued use of the Services confirms acceptance of the updated policy.
